The Department of Traditional Medicine is a clinical department of Campus 3 - Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital. With the desire to combine Eastern and Western medicine in treatment, the Department of Traditional Medicine combines the Paraclinical Unit to ensure accurate and quick tests for inpatients. Inpatients can perform most of the care and exercise techniques at the hospital bed such as applying medicine bags, soaking medicine, inhaling medicine, acupuncture, acupuncture, massage, and physical therapy. In addition, the Physical Therapy Department is equipped with tools to support patients during the exercise recovery process. In addition to classic forms of acupuncture, the Department uses laser acupuncture machines, needle-free electro-acupuncture machines, ultrasound therapy machines, and virtual reality exercise machines to treat many aspects of inpatient diseases.
The Department of Traditional Medicine supports patients in consulting and using health insurance to help patients feel secure during treatment. The department has a system of beds with many prices, publicizing the price of health insurance support according to regulations, so that patients have many choices. The administrative department contacts the insurance company that the patient is using to notify the hospital status, helping the patient receive timely payment during the treatment process.
